Emerging from my winter hibernation, I am greeted by a world in bloom. The weather is finally warm enough for me to take my new e-bike for a spin! As a water enthusiast, I find myself drawn to the canal outside my window. It brings me joy to witness the ice gradually melting, the trees bursting into bloom, and the return of the geese. These simple changes in nature automatically lift my spirits and fill me with a deep sense of gratitude for the beauty of life's small pleasures.
As we all create our checklists of things we want to change for the New Year, I am reflecting on how I want to spend this beautiful season. I want to spend more time outdoors, in the garden, and focused on cherished friends. I also want to reach out more often to those I love just to say hello. I’ve realized that life can get so busy that I sometimes forget to focus the simple things that truly bring me joy.
Wishing you a bountiful spring filled with refection and gratitude for the simple things - Lori
